PackIT 2D is an optimizer to calculate layouts of pieces on stock sheets. PackIT 2D is optimized for guillotine cutting. Non-rectangular shapes are packed into a rectangular primitive. It is possible to pack multiple non rectangular shapes into a single rectangular primitive. The optimizer can generate such combinations on its own.

In layout view, at first you are presented with an empty stock sheet. From here you can start the optimizer or alternatively manually place some pieces. With a click of your right mouse button you can pop up a table with all the pieces included in the layout. You can select one of them and place it manually. There is much support for modifying layouts including copy/paste entire sections, locking pieces in place, removing pieces and turning pieces.
